  1. Worked as Research Fellow for 6 months in 2001 for the ICASS Stroke Study at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai.
  2. Consultant Neurologist at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad  from  November 2004 till July 2008
  3. Was In-charge of the movement disorder programme at Care hospitals, Hyderabad.
  4. Was involved in various clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease (Phase II & III) as Principal Investigator and co-investigator at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad.
  5. Presently Consultant neurologist at Columbia Asia Referral Hospital, Yeshwantpur, and Columbia Asia hospital, Hebbal, Bangalore since   August 2008
  6. Experienced in botulinum toxin injections  for various movement disorders and spasticity.
  7. Participated in 1stAsia Oceanian Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorder conference held at Singapore in October 2007 and made a video presentation on “Persistent Severe Chorea in Hyperglycemia”.
  8. Trained and Certified for Deep Brain Stimulationin Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders by European Continued Medical Training (ECMT) Programme held at Kiel, Germany in November 2007.
  9. Observership under Prof. Dr. Gunther Deushl, Professor and Head, Department of Neurology, University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, Christian-Albrecht University, Kiel, Germany for 2 weeks in November 2007

  1. Instrumental in starting and successfully running “stroke unit” at Columbia asia hospitals, (presently manipal hospital yeshwanthpur) Bangalore which involves IV/IA and mechanical thrombolysis for acute stroke patients apart from their neurorehabilitation.
